Here you will find music scores and articles relevant to Orthodox choral music and musicians. Scores will vary in difficulty and ensemble size, but are predominantly for small to medium SATB church choirs, and in Church Slavonic (though not exclusively).

A large part of the material on this site reflects the musical heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) in Australia (and in Sydney in particular).

"Common chant" (and Octoechos) pieces will be partly from the practice of St Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral (ROCOR), Strathfield, NSW, Australia, and also from other sources such as the Psalmodist's Companion ("Sputnik Psalomschika"), and St Petersburg Imperial Court Chapel "Obihod" ("common-usage", based on the arrangements of Lvov and Bakhmetev)- the melodies of which have been somewhat influential in our local church singing traditions.

Music denoted as "simplified" is singable in two or three parts, with the top two voices in thirds.

In addition I will post transcriptions of compositions and arrangements by Russian emigre composers of the 20th century.

На этом сайте Вы найдете партитуры и документы для клироса и клирошан. Большая часть нотного материала будет для малых и средних смешанных хоров.

Значительная часть материалов на этом сайте отражает певческую традицию Русской Зарубежной Церкви в Австралии (в частности города Сиднея).

Песнопения "обычного напева" (гласы и.т.д.) как правило из репертуара Св. Петропавловского Собора (РПЦЗ), Стратфильд, Сидней, Австралия, но также будут выкладываться другие обиходные песнопения, как например из Спутника Псаломщика, и Придворного обихода (Львова/Бахметева- корорый повлиял на нашы местные певческие традиции) и другие местные употребляемые напевы.

"Упрощенные" песнопения можно петь на 2 или 3 голоса.

Вдобавок буду выкладывать сочинения русских зарубежных композиторов XX века.
